Porcelain paint palette

These are thrown on the wheel so I can get a perfect exterior and interior circle for the mixing well.

Once they are thrown I add a layer of pattern, and then hand carve the individual mixing wells.

At the green ware stage a layer of oxide is added and wiped back to reveal the pattern or the plain ones are just glazed with a white glaze.

And whilst these handmade paint palettes might not help you paint better it is lovely to have beautiful tools to use and they make great gifts.

I have designed them so that the water/brush pot sits within the recess when not in use.

They measure around 13cm wide and come ready gift boxed.
