Classic candleholder
Classic candleholder
A beautiful, simply designed candle-holder to fit most candles, finished in a glossy white glaze, indigo or sea-green finish.
Hand-thrown in porcelain on the wheel; it measures approx. 10.5cm across with a hole of 2.2cm, with a depth of 1.5cm. It also features a slight lip giving it a pleasing bowl shape.
Comes thoughtfully and sustainably packaged, and makes a great festive gift.
This size fits most candles, but I recommend sealing the base with wax for a secure fit.
This year I have teamed up with candle specialist and maker of sustainable homewares, Bryony, from Vesta Living for you to add a pair of ribbed, moulded, beeswax taper candles to your order to create a special and lovely gift.
Beeswax smells like honey, burns slowly and beautifully.
Benefits of beeswax candles
Clean and Non-Toxic: Beeswax is a natural substance produced by bees, and when used to make candles, it burns without releasing harmful toxins or pollutants. Unlike paraffin candles, which may emit harmful chemicals like benzene and toluene when burned, beeswax candles are a cleaner and healthier option.
Natural Scent: Beeswax candles have a naturally sweet and subtle honey-like aroma. we don’t add any scent to our candles making them a great choice for individuals sensitive to synthetic fragrances.
Longer Burn Time: Beeswax candles tend to burn slower and last longer than other wax candles of the same size. They have a higher melting point, which means they can withstand warmer temperatures and have a longer burning life.
Negative Ion Release: When beeswax candles burn, they release negative ions into the air. These ions can help neutralize pollutants, dust, and other allergens, contributing to improved air quality.
Environmentally Friendly: Beeswax is a renewable resource, and sustainable beekeeping practices ensure its availability without harming the environment.
Drip Resistant: Due to their higher melting point, beeswax candles are less likely to drip or create messy wax pools compared to other types of candles.
Hypoallergenic: Beeswax candles are generally well-tolerated by individuals with allergies or sensitivities to other types of candles or scents.
Beautiful Appearance: Beeswax has a natural golden color that adds elegance to the appearance of the candles. They often have a smooth, glossy finish that complements various decor styles.
